Sketchy Herbs & Magic Rocks: Mullein & Malachite

This Sketchy Herb and Magic are both featured this month in the Witch n' Bitch! I chose them because they have strong connections to the world of the dead, and to transformation. Both Malachite and Mullein are an excellent addition to a Halloween or Samhain altar, are great for dream magick and astral travel, and … Continue reading Sketchy Herbs & Magic Rocks: Mullein & Malachite

Blessed Ostara and Spring Equinox!

I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed first day of spring! I’m unfortunately bundled up with the flu so I have no Secular Witch’s Guide for this sabbat today. Sorry friends!

I really like to focus on the seasonal changes around this time and most of the magick I do revolves around animals and the environment. I also like to celebrate the day outside and even do things like picking up trash in a local park if the weather allows.

(Dandelions are one of the first flowers honey bees drink from once they shake off the winter blues!)

Honey bees are, unfortunately, a dying breed. Pesticides, human encroachment on wild land, having grassy lawns instead of gardens, and once more with feeling PESTICIDES have put us in a dangerous situation with our honey bees. These busy little critters pollinate not just pretty flowers, but…
